We cooked every meal at home.} {I feel very lucky to have that kind of upbringing actually.} {Well, there's different parts of Canada.} {I grew up in The Maritimes and I think I had} {a beautiful representation of clam chowder,} donairs, {beautiful lobster rolls,} {steamed mussels,} {taking stuff right out of the ocean and} {doing pretty little to it and making it nice.} {Also just like kind of bastardized things like shitty spaghetti.} {We didn't grow up having like bolognese.} {We had like meat sauce with like maybe like} {green peppers and like mushrooms in them.} {You know, we're part of the Commonwealth.} {So kind of beige and unremarkable.} {I think longevity now more than ever is about staying who you are,} {being creative and doing the things that I am.} {I try to always put the blinders on and like try to focus on} {what I'm good at and what I believe in and go forward with that.} {I think that longevity and that "build} {to last" is not following trends.} {Being of the moment is so present right now and} {you got to fight it and you got to have restraint} {and you got to not chase every single fucking like.} {Thank you for stopping by.} {All right.} {Appreciate it, bro.}
